This is my busiest time of the year at work...getting ready for preschool to start means editing staff manuals, planning a week of teacher training, hiring new staff, planning open houses, and assembling all the back-to-school literature for the preschool participants...in addition, we're writing the winter 2013 program guide- with the addition of a new facility that means more classes- and we're working on 2013 budgets. Its a lot to get done in the month of August and I'm exhausted!
I have had no energy by the time I get home the past couple weeks and making dinner has become a chore. I have been on the hunt for cheap, easy meals that aren't totally from a box.
French Bread Pizza with BBQ Pizza Sauce
One French Loaf
1/2 C BBQ Sauce
15 oz container of Pizza Sauce
2 C Mozzarella Cheese
Desired Toppings- ours was turkey pepperoni
Italian spices
Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Cut french loaf in half. Mix 1/2 C BBQ Sauce with Pizza Sauce and spread on loaf halves. Top with cheese and desired toppings. Sprinkle Italian Seasoning on top.
Bake for about 8 minutes- until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Enjoy!
This looks really good. My hubby and little mans favorite is pizza so I'm gonna have to give this a try.
ReplyDeleteIt was really good and so easy! Logan was raved about it forever... I kept telling him it was just cheese and pepperoni on bread...but he acted like it was the best thing he'd ever eaten
