I am a busy mom of two- ages 3 and 1, plus an 8 year old step-son who lives with us part-time. I enjoy scrapbooking, cooking and reading in my very precious spare time. I am a recreation program manager for a park district and love every minute of it! It's so much fun creating classes and running special events for the community.
My Husband, Clinton. We've been married since January 2009, but have known each other since my senior year at Eastern Illinois University.
My step-son Logan. He just started 1st grade in Bolingbrook, IL. We're so sad that he's started school full time last year because we don't get to see him as often. He's full of questions and loves to create with legos or crayons..anything to get to flex his creative muscles.
Elsie, the rambuncous one. Elsie turned two last October, but she acts like she's 16. She talks non-stop and is the most independant child I've ever met. She keeps Clinton and I laughing and always knows when we need a hug.
And finally, Evelyn. Evie just turned one on January 11. She's a mommy's girl. Loves to be cuddled and gets lots of love from her two older siblings.
I plan to use this blog as my creative outlet by posting party planning ideas, sewing projects, home decorating projects and some great tasting recipes. Everything I do is a midst lots of chaos, so I promise that all of my projects and recipes can be fit into anyone's crazy schedule.
