Saltine Toffee

This was another hit this Christmas. It has a perfect combination of Salty and Sweet. You may have to adjust your ingredients to fit your pan.


Saltine Toffee
45 Saltine Crackers
1 1/2 C unsalted butter
1 1/2 C brown sugar
11/2 C unsweetened chocolate chips
1 C milk chocolate chips
Sea Salt

Preheat oven to 350. Place saltine crackers on a foil and cooking spray lined pan. Melt sugar and butter. Bring to a boil and let simmer about 8 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Carefully pour over crackers. Bake for 10-11 minutes until toffee is bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over toffee. Let melt. Spread over toffee after about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt.
