Pinkalicious Party- Happy Birthday Elsie!!

It was my little Pinkalicious Princess's birthday last week and she chose the theme- Pinkalicious. Her favorite book that we've read every night for the last 6 months. So, we had lots of desserts that were pink, including the infamous pink cupcakes...although, they didn't turn her pink which was a big disappointment to her the next day. Apparently, she didn't eat enough.

The Birthday Banner: Happy Pink Day, Elsie!

Cut from my cricut, I used the Accent Essentials cartridge for the squares and Cherry Limeade for the letters.

Her outfit: her Pinkalicious Pink Crown detailed in a blog post a few weeks ago, a Tulle skirt I made her, a sweater from Costco (yes, Costco...it was super cute!) and a pink birthday button

The menu:
Not so pink dinner of White Fence Farm fried chicken & corn fritters (YUM!) and homemade mostacioli

Pink Punch: Two quart tub of raspberry sorbet, 2 liters of Sprite, 2 quarts of pink lemonade: pink deliciousness

Pink desserts galore: pink cake pops, pink chocolate chip cookies and pink cupcakes (loved how these turned out- I used my buttercream frosting and this cupcake recipe- lots of compliments... they were awesome!). I threw in a pumpkin cake that was not pink, but I don't think anyone cared.

The activities: Our yard was full of toys, a bounce house and Power Wheel cars...although it was the coldest day of the fall so far, so most of the party stayed inside.

She had a great day with family and friends. She was, truly, a Pinkalicious Princess for a Day!
